RAPED BY THE GAS MAN:PENNIES ADD UP

Did you know that gas stations get a free penny ,or more, off of you for every 10 gallons you buy? Every gas station has this listed,but no one pays this any attention. The rising cost of gasoline led myself,who never payed attention to this scam,to calculate how much gas i could get for the spare change in my pocket. At the time gas was $2.47 and 9/10 of a cent. The 9/10 of a cent is what caused me to notice this. Ok now who has 9/10 of a penny? No one.this isn't a produced currency,therefore gas stations round it up!!!! Well atleast that's what i was told by a HESS employee when i asked how come i didn't get as much gas as i paid for. In other words they are taking your money. Lets break it down mathematically. say your local station is selling gas for $2.50 and 9/10 a gallon,and say you want $10.00 worth of gas.well you're actually paying 2.51 per gallon,and and you will get less than 4 gallons for your hard earned $10. To get an even 4 gallons for your $10 you would have to pump more,thus giving the station more free money! So i know many of you are probably saying " This isn't a big deal. Whats a penny?" ,but it is. Those pennies add up. Now think of how many gas stations that are owned by say, exxon mobil, and the gallons of gas each has sold a day.....we are talking billions in free money they have taken from you, the consumer, everyday without you even knowing it for years. Scams like this keep the crooks that benefit off the needs of societies to get rich, and in power while you are clueless to the fact.If you over pump a couple of cents, or just one, and drive away, you could find yourself facing criminal charges,suspended license,or more depending on your states laws. Funny how they can take your money because they "round up to the nearest cent".If you round up to the nearest gallon you pay! Think of how many gallons one station sells per day. This must be partly why a greener tomorrow is so hard to come by. This is something that has gone on way too long and should be addressed. If anyone cares or not.....next time you fill up.do the math,and see for yourself,then you tell me.
